We invite submissions to the first edition of the Personalization of Generative AI workshop, to be held at EACL 2024 on March 21 or 22, 2024.

Introduction
Personalization of generative AI is a key step to make generic systems tangibly useful to a diverse demographic user group. Our workshop studies personalization from technical, legal, and philosophical angles.
Topics of Interest
We invite any submission which studies aspects of personalization for AI systems. These include but are not limited to:
- User personalization of models
- Techniques for personalizing LLMs and multi-modal systems
- Critiques of personalization techniques
- Frameworks for personalizing systems
- Usage of memory for personalization
- RAGs and personalization
- Legal and ethical issues with personalization
- Model analysis of personalized systems
- Data privacy issues and mitigation techniques
- Survey pieces on personalization
- System demonstrations for social impact use-cases
Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished research papers in the following categories:
- Full papers (up to 8 pages) for substantial contributions
- Short papers (up to 4 pages) for ongoing or preliminary work. All submissions must be in PDF format, submitted electronically via Softconf and should follow the EACL 2024 formatting guidelines (following the ARR CfP: use the official ACL style templates, which are available here).
We also invite papers accepted to Findings (even of EMNLP) to reach out to the organizing committee of Personalization of Generative AI to present their papers at the workshop, if in line with the topics as described above.
